Acmena Juvenile Justice Centre, Jacaranda Building

Brisull Industries was engaged by NSW Government Department of Communities and Justice to complete an upgrade of the Jacaranda Building in the Acmena Juvenile Justice Centre in Grafton, Northern NSW. The project involved was key for improving security and safety of the centre. It commenced with demolition of the existing staff offices, dining facilities, accomodation cabins, and recreational areas. Upgrade works involved new flooring, glazing, lighting, joinery, security throughout as well as a new layout for the staff offices. The project took place whilst the centre remained fully operational, requiring diligent communication with Centre Management at all times.
